    • I do not agree with your assumption re Israel being secular, therefore it is rich.
Israel is rich due to hundreds of billions of dollars poured in this country, during the times.
The monies came from many sources. From governments, from pro Israel corporations, from groups and individuals around the world. Not to forget that Germany paid between 100 and 200 billion, (according to recent study). Not to forget the Evangelist Christians (Christian Zionists), 75 million in USA, plus many in other countries. Last year ones in USA contributed 600 million dollar, plus much in tourism. I know that in Canada there are over 300 Jewish organizations, who collect monies for Israel 365 days in a year.

Now, monies are one aspect. There are many many ways which Israel is advancing.
Many companies and research and developments (military or civilian) around the world, in all fields, either have Jews who owned them or others who are sympathetic to Israel, who send any innovations to Israel. Most large technological companies have a base in Israel or a contract to supply advancements. Examples: Google, Meta, Microsoft, Amazon …….
Also it is known that there’s much theft of valuable information by Israeli agents or non Israelis.

Yes, Israel (or any country) which got all these opportunities (hundreds more which not mentioned here), advances and becomes rich.
What I mentioned, it’s scratching the surface.
By the way I’m Jewish and lived in Canada for last 54 years.

    • Forgot to add. In 1967, when Israel got control of the Golan, West Bank and Gaza, there were considerations of to work toward peace or expansion. The later was adopted.
Also it is estimated that Israel has about 5000 spies. Those are not the traditional spies, where they get paid. These are Jews and non Jews, who are pro Israel and provide much benefit to Israel.

      Jake.

    • Hi Jan, thank you for your comments. I’m late in responding, due to recent developments. I’m busy in talking, writing and more with groups, which takes much of my time.

Historically there were and are differences between Europe and Middle East/Asia.
Europeans in general in ancient history were behind the Middle East in development, culture etc. For example compare to Egypt, Iran, Iraq and more.
Europe surpassed in the last few hundred years. Perhaps somewhat due to development of boats, navies and weapon, where they went to other regions, conquering and looting all the riches, plus benefit from slaves.

This is in general. In particular the Ashkenazi Jews, went even further in development, even compare to Sephardic Jews. Part of the reason is that European Jews were discriminated in many ways, could not get government jobs and others. Therefore they went into other professions like, financial, real estate and education in general, in order to feel more secure.
(by the way I have thoughts as to why Ashkenazi Jews were treated badly, compare to oriental ones, but this is another story).

In the East, there were no wars like in Europe and Jews were not discriminated, therefore life in general developed in a much slower pace. I totally agree that Islam religion is much factor in holding them back.

Case in point: Before here in Canada, one could see many Jewish names in the law profession, Banking, science, trade etc. Nowadays dominant names are Asian and Chinese, among the new ones.

In your second paragraph you say, Israel was supported in the beginning……
Israel was and is supported in hundreds of ways everyday. In fact it is supported now more then ever.

Two main points, which most people are mistaken.
Although Israelis are mostly secular, it is not in the country’s politics and laws. Due to the unbelievable fragmentation of the society,. For example in every election more then 30 parties, run for election. (5 elections not long ago, in a year) In this case never was a majority government, therefore a coalition has to be done with half a dozen religious parties. In this case many laws are religious laws. Example: Birth, death, marriage, divorce and many more, Much to the chagrin of the seculars.

Second, Israel is not and never was a democracy. 20% of Israel’s population are not Jews. They are discriminated immensely. There are about 70 legislated laws against them and hundreds non legislated. It is a democracy for Jews only. It’s an apartheid for the Palestinians.

As far as the riches of Israel, in addition to what I mentioned previously, there are more reasons. Since Israel got control of West Bank in 1967, it systematically destroyed their economy. Not only that Israel benefits much from West Bank land, with 800,000 colonial settlers, by agricultural products, natural resources and control of 80% of the water. Most of what the 3 million Palestinian need, comes from Israel and in inflated prices. Whatever needs to come from abroad, goes through Israel, where prices also inflated. Not to forget the Golan Heights land and annexation of Jerusalem.

Yes, Israel has very strong economy nowadays by its own right. But the base helped to come to this.
Two things that Israel developed intentionally, which bring enormous monies, are weapons and Hi Teck surveillance material. Israel sells arms and surveillance to more then 120 countries. Selling those, enslaves the buyer countries, where they need training, spare parts etc. This is why even some Arab countries have peace agreement with Israel. These corrupt countries want the surveillance to follow their own people, to safeguard their kingdoms from any rebellion.

In regard to your last paragraph. Perhaps that new country, would not advance as much, but it would be totally different from an Arab one, given what Israel got and getting.

Please remember Israel was created artificially by injustice and violence and getting rid of the indigenous people. Now some extremist Israelis talking that part of Lebanon, Syria and Jordan also belong to Israel.

I have so much more to say, but I’ll stop my rant here. I welcome any comment from anyone.

      Jake.

    • “In your second paragraph you say, Israel was supported in the beginning……
Israel was and is supported in hundreds of ways everyday. In fact it is supported now more then ever.”

Yes, I meant that support was crucial back then. I have expressed myself badly.

“Due to the unbelievable fragmentation of the society,. For example in every election more then 30 parties, run for election. (5 elections not long ago, in a year) In this case never was a majority government, therefore a coalition has to be done with half a dozen religious parties. In this case many laws are religious laws.” But there is still an election that is not completely manipulated.

I mean even apartheid (that Czech media don’t inform about) doesn’t exclude that everything is undemocratic. But, of course, it is undoubtedly a flawed democracy.

“Example: Birth, death, marriage, divorce and many more, Much to the chagrin of the seculars.” I didn’t know. But I mean the infrastructure, educational system, and technological advancement on its own.

Well, you have provided me with so much information. What about creating an article – a rebuttal? It would be great! Or give me some paragraphs and points, and I may write it myself. The issue is that every point has its nuances that need to be expanded, and honestly, I am not that educated. So we would really welcome you writing the article. If you are not so confident, I will post-edit it. But it would be really great to have insight from such an educated, well-informed, unbiased, and humanist individual.

“I have so much more to say, but I’ll stop my rant here. I welcome any comment from anyone.” Well, we welcome your views, I must honestly say I have learned something.

    • Hello Jake,

We have had some technical issues with your comment appearing lately. I apologize for the inconvenience.

I understand that you are busy, but I would still appreciate a concise summary of your insights. You have shared a lot of valuable information, and while I know the topic is complex, a brief, 2-minute read with the key points is not impossible. Perhaps you could format it as short bullet points—about 50 of them, covering the essentials.

Your article on CUSJ was genuinely an eye-opener. I thought the situation was bad, but I did not realize the full extent. The scariest part is the propaganda. If you lived in the Czech Republic, you would feel truly desperate. Even media outlets owned or influenced by Jews, like the BBC or NYT, maintain some level of objectivity, but here it is different. The media climate in the CR feels so thoroughly saturated with biased messaging that meaningful discussion seems nearly impossible. If you think Canadian media lacks objectivity, meeting a single Czech would surprise you even more. I have seen firsthand how all forms of tribalism can spiral into dangerous territory. It has brought nothing but gas chambers.

I am working on cultivating my blog and Freethinkers International, but the complexity of the issues is such that I would need a deep, dedicated focus—one that I currently cannot commit to, both in terms of time and mental energy.

So, since you already have a strong grasp of the subject and can easily recall the information, we would truly appreciate any concise contribution you could make.

Please do not take this as putting pressure against you. If you do not want to, it is your free choice. We cannot make someone do it just because we want it.

      Sincerely,
      Jan Bryxí

    • Hi Jan,
You win, I’ll write a summery of the main points and political maneuvering, from the start of prior to the year 1900 to today, which led us to where we are now. However I won’t be able to do it in one sitting. It will take a some time.
(Example: today I have three ZOOM meetings plus other activities),
In this case perhaps I have to write it elsewhere and at the end download it to this site?

    • I forgot to mention that on Monday I have cataract surgery in one eye and three weeks later in the other.
It is recommended not to use much computer, not to put strain on the eyes.
But I’m committed to write, in order to inform members who are not informed about the truths.

      Jake.
