Ex-muslims 5 years, 3 months ago Eid Al-Adha is coming soon ( July 20th ). it’s my least favorite of the two eids. At least in eid Al-fitr I get to have lots of cookies. Eid Al-adha is just a lot of animal slaughter in the streets… the sight and smell are awful. I haven’t seen many cattle roaming around the streets of Cairo like I do every year. People from the country side often bring their sheep and cows to sell them in the city. I wonder if it has to do with covid. What do you think of Eid Al-Adha ? What normally happens in your country during this time ?
It’s the same thing in my country, slaughtering of animals everywhere and people making a business out of the whole thing. I remember last year that there was so much blood it almost spilled into the streets
