Ghasem Gharehdaghi (قاسم قره داغی)
Ghasem Gharehdaghi is the founder a book organization called “AvayeBuf” in Denmark.
For more than a decade, his family including his sister Houriyeh Gharehdaghi (حوریه قره داغی) and his son Sasan Gharehdaghi (ساسان قره داغی) have helped him publish more than ten thousand of banned and prohibited(forbidden) books in iran(کتاب های ممنوعه).
He has made a hub(or a great library) for many authors in iran to publish their books and allowing their books to be made as audiobooks.
He has written some books and he is also a poet.
His personal YouTube channel:
When Slaman Rushdie got attacked in New York he published the audio version of the book “Satanic Verses” on the platforms of the organization using his own voice.
The link for that:
It hasn’t been more than three months since he has done the editing and publication of the audiobook “the unveiled” by Yasmine Muhammad in my voice.
He has a very well-written book named “Ali Qatal al-Arab”(علی قتال العرب).
You can find the book using the link:
In my point of view, he has been one of the bravest of freedom fighters and more specifically a fighter for freedom of speech.
This year, the organization and Dr.Houriyeh Gharehdaghi have published a Three-volume political book called “Unit 400” in which the author(Dr.Houriyeh Gharehdaghi)follows the evidences and trackes in order to prove that Islamic republic has been behind many terrors Outside the borders of Iran.
The link for the book(volume one):
It should be known that the core members and founders of AvayeBuf have been attacked five years ago in Denmark in a terrorist attack and many of the books have been destroyed in that historical attack to freedom of speech even in the free west.
The new project of the organization is a project called “Critique of evidence for the existence of God” and it has been an informative project for those of new atheists and those who are willing to know more about short criticism of religion.
If we want to thank mr.Ghasem Gharehdaghi as the founder of the organization, I believe we should thank his whole family not only for publishing many free and informative books but also for allowing new atheists and exmuslims to join and help them on their way to freedom.
There hasn’t been enough people in the world to thank them so I think my article will be of a little encouragement.
As freethinkers, I assume we should join forces in order to help this organization become multilingual.
The main platform in which they have gathered thousands of books is their website:
