Then, tragedy struck. One morning, Mumino heard his wife had passed away in her sleep. It was sudden, without warning, and left him reeling. The exact cause remains unclear, and the family is left wondering if she suffered in her final moments. Grieving was a luxury Mumino couldn’t afford. With his wife gone, he knew he had to act fast to secure the future of his two young daughters. Returning to Somalia to bring them to safety was his next step, despite the dangers and risks that came with the journey.
